Kylee Dalton, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Kylee Dalton, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and owner of Prime Psychiatry and Wellness, an outpatient behavioral health practice in Pace, Florida.
She received her Associate in Science in Nursing in 2014 from Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2020 from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. She received her Post Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Herzing University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She is qualified to practice in psychiatry to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for patients 18 years of age and older. Some of her practice specialties include (but are not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Trichotillomania, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Insomnia and Alcohol Abuse.

ADHD Evaluation Requirement
If you are seeking treatment for ADHD, the first step is to complete a comprehensive evaluation with a licensed clinical psychologist.
This evaluation includes formal neuropsychological testing to accurately assess for ADHD and related conditions.

Neuropsychological testing is an in-depth assessment of brain function that measures key cognitive abilities such as attention, memory, processing speed, and executive functioning. The process typically involves standardized tests, clinical interviews, and structured questionnaires.

This type of evaluation helps determine whether ADHD or another condition—such as a learning disorder, mood disorder, or effects of a brain injury—may be contributing to your symptoms. It also provides valuable insight into your cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty, allowing for a more precise and individualized treatment plan.

Prior to scheduling testing, we recommend contacting your insurance carrier to determine which providers are covered for neuropsychological testing for ADHD. There are several providers in Pensacola FL who administer this type of testing.

Once your neuropsychological evaluation is complete, you may bring a copy of your testing results to your first appointment. At that time, we will review your results and, if appropriate, discuss and begin medication treatment.
